On Monday (5), Jimmy Kimmel told his audience that he took the same cognitive test that Donald Trump bragged about having taken in 2025. He said he took the test to “get a sense of what he [Trump] keeps babbling about.”
“So, in the name of fairness, […] we contacted a doctor who regularly administers these tests, these cognitive exams, and I asked her to give one to me,” Jimmy Kimmel explained.
Before describing what his experience was like, the comedian said he had not seen the questions beforehand and that he is willing to release the full “unedited” version of the exam.
“We’re going to find out how difficult this big, beautiful test is and how my brain compares to that of our stable genius president,” he added.

Jimmy Kimmel sat across from the test administrator, Sarah Swanson, who confirmed that it was likely the same exam taken by Trump.
The exam assessed different cognitive functions of the host, from drawing geometric shapes to identifying animals. He had to repeat some sentences, words, and numbers.
The comedian scored 30 points out of 30.
“You got a perfect score,” Swanson said, to which Kimmel replied: “So I can be president?”, Jimmy Kimmel responded.
